Since 2018, she has been fighting skin lymphoma. Five long years of treatment, countless procedures, chemotherapy courses, complications… Five years of fighting for her life. And in 2023, we got what we fought so long for — we defeated this terrible disease. Pona persevered. We literally snatched her from the clutches of death. Today Pona is 11 years old. And she wants to live. She wants to live many more happy years. But most of all, I want her to spend these years not in a shelter, but at home. Pona has been living in the shelter for four years now. For four long years she has been snuggling up to humans, waiting for affection, watching others being taken home… And, probably, she doesn't understand: why isn't it her again? What is wrong with her? And there is nothing wrong with her. Pona is just a special girl with a complex story. I believe with all my heart that her person is out there somewhere. Someone who won't be frightened by her age and past. Someone who will see in her not a diagnosis, but a living soul that has been through so much and still continues to love humans. I really want Pona to finally learn one day what it means to be a pet at home. To have her own family, her own bed, her own hands to snuggle into. Meet our beauty Luna 🐾 In 2022, I saw her on the street — pregnant and hungry. I started feeding her, and later locals mentioned that Luna had an owner, but he led a troubled life and barely cared for her. I found him and explained that the best solution would be to spay the dog. The man agreed and handed Luna over to us. We spayed and vaccinated her, and after her temporary stay, I took the girl back. However, upon arriving, I learned from the neighbors that her owner had passed away. They immediately made it clear: no one needed Luna there, and no one welcomed her return. I couldn't abandon her to her fate — that's how she ended up at our shelter. For four years now, we have been looking for a real family for Luna. She is about six years old. She is exceptionally smart, loyal, and a true protector. At first, Luna lived in very poor conditions, and then in the shelter. But she still doesn't know what it's like to have a home of her own, warmth, care, and the love of her human. Please give this incredible girl a chance. Luna has been waiting so long for someone she can give all her devotion and love to. ❤️

Meet Black — our handsome boy 🖤 His fate has not been easy. Back when he was just an adolescent, someone threw him out onto the street. He came to us: we rescued him, neutered him, vaccinated him, and found him a family. It seemed that Black would finally have a happy life… However, the family turned out to be dysfunctional. Black was almost dumped on the street again. That is how he experienced human betrayal for the second time and returned to the shelter. Black is a very active and energetic boy. He loves long walks, movement, and adventures. He also easily clears fences around two meters high, so his future family must definitely take this into account. By the way, his best friend is Dusya, who is also featured in our profile. They have a wonderful time together and love to play. Despite everything he has been through, Black hasn't lost his love for people. He is very gentle, adores attention and affection, and dreams of being close to his human. Unfortunately, giving him as much warmth as he needs at the shelter is almost impossible: there are many animals and very few people. Black misses human love terribly. He needs a home where he will never be betrayed again. 🙏 Give Black a family, care, and true happiness. Save a baby whom humans have already betrayed twice. 🏡❤️

Ельза шукає свою родину ❤️ Знайомтеся, це Ельза. У 2020 році її вивезли з-під обстрілів із Бахмута. На той момент вона мала важке поранення та зламану лапку. На Ельзу чекав дуже довгий період лікування та відновлення. Ми боролися за те, щоб її лапка загоїлася, але не менш складним був шлях відновлення її ментального здоров’я. Ельза дуже боялася вибухів, у неї траплялися напади. Ми довго працювали, щоб допомогти їй знову відчути себе в безпеці. Сьогодні ця красуня готова до нового життя. 🐾 Ельза дуже пухнаста — у неї густа й довга шерсть. У літній період ми водимо її на грумінг і стрижемо. Якщо майбутня родина захоче залишати її шерсть довшою — це теж чудово. На грумінгу Ельза поводиться дуже добре. Вона шукає родину, яка буде любити її, берегти та цінувати. Julia, or, as I affectionately call her, Juicy-Fruit 🤍 Our incredibly fluffy beauty. Sister of Mykhailo Mykhailovych and Limuzyn. Julia is an extraordinarily gentle and delicate girl. Sometimes you look at her and it feels like you are looking at a delicate crystal vase that you want to protect from the whole world. She is very human-oriented. She loves being nearby, spending time together, and feeling warmth and protection. Due to her soft nature, Julia doesn't know how to stand up for herself at all, so other dogs sometimes pick on her. And then she seeks refuge near a human — snuggles closer because she knows she will be protected here. When she was still very small, Julia lost her mother — she died tragically. Since then, we have become family for her. But a shelter cannot replace a real home and one's own human. We have been looking for a family for Julia for a very long time now. Maybe because she isn't a trendy breed. She is not a Yorkie, not a Spitz, and not a Staffy. She is just Julia. An ordinary mixed-breed girl with a huge, kind heart. And believe us, that doesn't make her any less wonderful. Also, Juicy-Fruit is incredibly fluffy. Her luxurious coat needs care, so about twice a year her future family will need to visit a groomer with her. She doesn't need much. She needs her own person, next to whom she will never have to seek protection again. We are looking for a responsible family for Julia who will become a home, support, and protection for her.
