Meet our handsome boy Krek ❤️

Krek is a Staffy who, unfortunately, was very unlucky with people.

His first owner beat and abused him. The second, not understanding the specifics of the breed and the dog's character, also tried to "educate" him with cruelty. And all of this left its mark.

In fact, Krek can be incredibly gentle and affectionate. But this dog's trust needs to be earned.

He is wary of strangers, especially men. You cannot rush getting to know Krek — he needs time, distance, and a person who knows how to respect his boundaries. But when he finally trusts you, a completely different Krek opens up: gentle, loyal, and very affectionate.

And Krek also knows how to take offense. For real. If you lose his trust, it will take a lot of time to win it back again.

🐕 He gets along great with other dogs. At the shelter, he lives among a large number of dogs, walks and plays with them.

🐈 But Krek strongly dislikes cats.

Therefore, we are looking for a special family for him. Without young children and without cats. People with experience, ready to understand his behavior, work with a dog trainer, and build a relationship not through force and punishment, but through trust.

We understand that rehoming Krek will not be easy. But we really want to believe that his person is out there somewhere.

A person who won't be scared of his past. Who will give him time. Who will accept him as he is and help him become better.

Krek has already suffered enough because of people.

Now we only want one thing — for a family to finally be found where he will be loved and valued. A family where he will never be hurt again. ❤️
